Wow…..um…hi guys?
So sorry that this was basically dropped. It seems life got in the way for all of us (including both admins) so I’m here to say that we are extremely sorry for abandoning the RP in such a way.
New followers: Welcome!
RPers: If you want to start up the RP again, go right ahead!
If you want to create an RP character, drop a submission to us right here at Twelve Colonies.
Hope you all have enjoyed your summer!
-Dee
Actually this is just an admin post popping in to see how everyone’s doing! No, the RP’s not dead or on hiatus, seems like life has caught up with everyone and gotten a bunch of the RPers (admins included) busy lately.
So! Continue on RPing and don’t hesitate to join in, we’ve still got open characters and we’re always willing to add more if you don’t see a character you want.
Nagala, out.

Karl “Helo” C. Agathon | Caprica | FC: Tahmoh Penikett | Taken
Young, capable, and resourceful with an acute sense of right and wrong, something which he is prepared to articulate and act upon, even at risk to his own standing, Karl C. Agathon is a Raptor ECO currently serving on the Battlestar Galactica. More commonly known by his call sign, “Helo”, he is an easy-going, all around good guy who enjoys a good game of pyramid and is somewhat of a ladies man. Helo is also trained to be a Raptor pilot should the need arise and is good friends with Kara “Starbuck” Thrace, a Viper pilot and former flight instructor also serving on Galactica.
Hey guys!
I noticed we got some new followers, so yay! Welcome! Join if you’d like, we’ve still got plenty of open characters and we’re always open to requests
In other news, sorry that the RP has been kind of….dead? On hiatus? Not active? Pick whichever one you want, heh. I know that some of our RPers have been on break or traveling and I’m currently being swamped by work of the second half of the semester, so still stay tuned for people updating, it just seems like life is kind of hectic for some of us right now.
Alright, that’s pretty much it, so you may return to your regularly scheduled dash!
Love,
Dee
We, by which I mean Dee and myself, are reorganising the way we run the RP. Formerly, she and I had the main blog tacked onto Niobe and Gwen’s accounts. Now, since admin posts are (occasionally) done in character as President Adar and Admiral Nagala, we’ve created accounts for the President and Admiral, which will now run things.
See, I did warn you this wouldn’t be relevant.
xoxo Dany and Dee
Citizens of the Twelve Colonies,
Forty years ago today, the Twelve Colonies of Kobol united against a force that threatened our very existence. We fought; we won; and we have thrived since then. Today is a celebration of what makes us human, what makes us different and what brings us together. Starting today, we will begin spotlighting interesting information about each of the Twelve Colonies, as well as the other planets and moons where humanity has settled.
Today is a day of remembrance, for those who fought and died. But above all, today is a day of celebration. I personally thank the Lords of Kobol for all that They have given me, and for what They will yet give.
So say we all!
—Richard Adar, President of the Twelve Colonies

Lee “Apollo” Adama | Caprica | FC: Jamie Bamber | Taken
Leland “Lee” Joseph Adama, call sign “Apollo,” was raised on Caprica with his mother and brother after his parents divorced when he was eight. Although relations with his father, William Adama, were strained, Lee applied to flight school after graduating third in his class from the military academy. Whilst in the flight school and flying the Viper Mark VII, Lee met Kara Thrace, a flight instructor who was romantically involved with his brother Zak. Zak died two years prior to the attack on the colonies in a accident during training, and Lee always blamed his father for this for pushing Zak into flight school when he wasn’t ready or prepared. The already strained relations between Lee and his father reached a breaking point as a result of Zak’s death, and Lee decision to distance himself from his father also strained his friendship with Kara when she was assigned to his father’s Battlestar, Galactica. Lee is a natural as a pilot and is incredibly skilled, although he does tend to over-analyze and over-intellectualize. This comes from his mother who encouraged him to read and think extensively, including texts that were considered fringe or even banned. Lee is often conflicted between doing what is right morally and logically and values truth and honor above being held in good graces. Nevertheless he does follow orders well and plans to make a career out of the military.

D’Anna Biers | Canceron | FC: Lucy Lawless | Taken
D’Anna grew up in Mangala, one of the largest cities of Canceron. As the daughter of a politician, she saw firsthand the good that could be done by someone in power— and the bad. She decided at a young age that she would dedicate her life to keeping the powerful from becoming corrupt, or, if they already were, exposing them. One of her earliest victories in this field came when she was just twenty-two, when she succeeded in exposing fraudulent voting procedures in Canceron’s elections, thereby getting then-Prime Minister Asha Toma impeached and charged with a laundry list of crimes. Since then, she has become quite famous on her home colony— though some might call it infamous. She has since moved up to the intercolonial level, though she frequently instigates minor and major investigations on her home colony. D’Anna is also an outspoken monotheist, which has lost her some of her original popularity. She currently has residences in Caprica City and Hades, and would prefer that their exact locations remain strictly private.
